All Female Mariachi Ensemble in Concert is Sure to Please?

Santa Clarita, CA? Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles, the all female renowned mariachi ensemble will perform at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 8 p.m. ?Since 1994, Reyna has grown in popularity as they have performed with Vikki Carr, Guadalupe Pineda, Miguel Aceves Mejia and Lucha Villa.
Celebrities such as Tom Petty, the Dodgers? Normar Garciaparra and his soccer-star wife Mia Hamm, John Travolta, Oprah Winfrey, Tom Cruise, Robin Williams, Sean Penn and the late George Harrison of the Beatles, have also enjoyed Reyna?s performances.
In the Santa Clarita performance Reyna will offer the audience a musical tour of the diverse rhythms of Mexico, and will sign the stories of love, loneliness, the longing for the old country.
Envisioned by maestro Jose Hernandez of Mariachi Sol de Mexico, in this new ensemble he saw the potential to include more people in the rich heritage of mariachi music, and the opportunity to include more families in learning and performing.
The success has propelled Reyna de Los Angeles to record two successful albums produced by Maestro Hernandez: Solo Tuya (Yours Only) and El Mejor Mariachi Femenino del Mundo (The Best Female Mariachi in the World).
